Attention to detail - Google's example
I had this interesting chat with one of my clients, and guess what we talked about? Languages! Yeah, the kind you use when you're chatting online, like mixing Hindi and English, which we often refer to as "Hinglish."
So, my client wanted to know how to reach a pan-Indian audience with his videos. I told him, "Hey, either go Hinglish on one account or create like 5-6 accounts, one for each regional language." But here's the twist – that's a boatload of work, and your focus gets sliced into tiny bits, like a pizza at a kid's birthday party. 🍕
So, the logical solution was to recommend going Hinglish! It's like hitting two birds with one stone. You get to talk to everyone, and it's way easier to manage.
But here's the kicker – I stumbled upon something interesting while using Google Pay. When I got an error message, it wasn't just in English; it was also in Hinglish! It's like Google is catching on to how we chat on the internet.
It feels super cool when language adapts to the way we talk online, right? So, maybe Google is testing the waters with this internet-native language mashup.
On a side note, we are organizing the biggest growth hacking event in India on the 27th of February in Bangalore - please do buy tickets and come by!
