Can a safety instruction video get more creative than this?
Wanted to share a little story from my last trip to Europe on Qatar Airways. Now, we all know those safety briefings on planes can be a real snooze-fest, right? But not on Qatar Airways. Nope, they had this cool video playing on the screen in front of you, mixing safety instructions with cultural tidbits and tourist spots in Qatar. I kid you not, I didn't even blink!
Fast forward to last week when my cousin flew in from Europe on Air India. Poor guy was majorly bummed 'cause the screen in front of him was as dead as a doornail. I had to break it to him, "Things are changing, buddy. The Tatas are taking over the company."
But guess what? Air India seems to be stepping up their game. Came across this new safety instruction video they launched, and man, it's a game-changer. They've got all kinds of famous dancers, from Kathakali to Mohiniyattam, busting moves while explaining safety measures. It's a thing of beauty, I tell ya. Check it out:
The concept might not be entirely original, but Air India's execution is spot-on. These little steps could go a long way in turning their rep around.
