More & CRED - A great business collaboration
I've recently made a switch that's kind of shaped up my shopping habits. Here’s the scoop: I started using CRED UPI and now I shop almost exclusively at More. Why the sudden loyalty switch? It all comes down to a clever little partnership I stumbled upon.
Here's what happened: While checking out at a new More outlet near my home, I noticed a standout sign that caught my attention. It announced that using CRED UPI at More stores would snag me a 5% cashback. Right there at the checkout, as the cashier was setting up my bill, I activated my CRED UPI and used it for the first time. And voilà—I got a little cashback surprise (because you don’t know exactly how much you'll get until you do).
This tiny incentive has nudged me to keep going back to More, even though there are plenty of other supermarkets around. Plus, I've started using CRED for these transactions, whereas I typically leaned on GPay or PhonePe. This partnership between CRED and More is a textbook example of how a small perk can shift consumer behavior—a win-win for both businesses.
