I wanted to expand the number of lead sources by one more. I thought about it for a long time and couldn’t figure it out until recently.
Then I started thinking about collaborating with other agencies. There could be other agencies that offer only a limited amount of services. If we partner with them, they can introduce their clients to us and we can provide additional services the other agency cannot and can provide them with a finders fee.
It can also be the other way around, we can divert the leads that we get which are looking for some service we are not providing to the partner agency and collect a finder’s fee.
I thought it was a win-win deal.
I found out about another agency owner who was doing really good with conversion campaigns (Performance ads) but they did not have a creative wing. We discussed and signed an MoU in which if we get a client that requires aggressive conversion campaigns, we will divert to them and if their clients need creative support they will divert to us.
It’s been just two months and we have closed 3 clients by partnering with each other.
Think collaboration and not competition!
