Order Tracking Emails Can Be Fun and Sweet (Lenskart Example)
The only order confirmation emails that brings a smile to my face
Lenskart has been one of those brands that I’ve been loyal to for many years.. more than 7 or 8 years I think.
This week I wanted to replace my broken spectacles with a new one. And guess what? I ended up buying again from Lenskart.
As usual, the collection, the offers and the salespeople - all were great. But something that happened after the sales was the thing that impressed me the most.
It was their order tracking emails. It came in the following order (Observe the email subject lines):
They had themed the entire email sequence of order tracking and shipment details in the form of a long-distance love story - portraying me being one partner and my newly purchased glasses being the person whose travelling to be with me!
For anyone with specs can relate to this. If you break your existing glasses, you just can’t wait for the new glasses to reach you.
As the icing on the cake, this is what I saw inside the case when I received the shipment:
They kept the continuity of the story so beautifully by placing this copy inside the case :)
Maybe these are the stuff that kept me coming back to Lenskart all these years.
