This Brand Asked Me NOT to Reorder Their Product
For the first time I'm seeing something like this from a D2C brand
I have talked about the D2C website “Man Matters” previously in this newsletter.
Now again it’s time for them to take the spotlight. (And yes for the right reasons)
A week ago, I got an SMS from them. I usually read just one line of all promotional messages and continue with whatever I’m doing.
But this SMS had a shocking first line. It said, “Do NOT reorder your regime!”
It caught my attention and I clicked it open to read full:
Brilliantly, it was just a good hook for them to place their flagship service of online doctor consultation in front of me. As a user, it didn’t feel too gimmicky for me, and it is now on top of my mind cause I’m thinking about consulting online instead of walking into a hospital nowadays.
Now, this is a good example of using the right channel (SMS - I feel many brands are missing out on this medium) and how to grab the customer’s attention without being too gimmicky. And guess what, if you are looking to get more brilliant marketing examples from new-age brands, I have launched an Ebook covering 10 great marketing and sales examples!
If you love my newsletters, you will definitely love reading this new e-book (I have covered most of the examples in this newsletter itself - if you want to have it arranged well for you in the form of an e-book, you should go for it)
Apart from that, It will mean a lot to me if you could spare some money equivalent to a Pizza to buy the book so that I can sustain and keep my newsletter free forever :)
