It's been over a year since I was working with a supplement and nutrition company, and I remember when they called me to introduce a new corporate discount offer. He told me that any partner organization who signs up for the coupon code would receive a 30% discount on all of the brand's products for all of their/our employees.
I didn't think much of it at the time, but I agreed to sign up for the offer. And now, more than a year later, I'm still a loyal customer of that brand. I don't go to Amazon to buy supplements anymore - I always go directly to their website. And I'm not alone - at least 5 of my colleagues have also been consistently buying from them for over a year now.
What I've come to realize is that this discount offer was a great way for the company to build a loyal customer base. By offering a discount, they've made it easy for people like me to choose their products over others. And by keeping us coming back for over a year, they've created a steady stream of repeat business.
So I'm curious, have you ever come across a similar discount offer that has kept you coming back to a brand? What do you think makes these types of campaigns so effective?
