Upsell
This is my new strategy that is working good.
I succeeded in upselling 3 of my clients to 2x or even 3x times what they used to pay us.
Here's how I did it:
- Your first impression is the best impression: Start off with a kick-ass out of the box idea with awesome execution. That is when he/she is going to judge you.
- After that give them a taste of deliverables outside the scope of your work. Show results and them explain how it was out of scope
- Tell them you can bring in more of such value adds, but you need to allocate more time of yours and need more resources for the same.
- Ask them to incentivize the additional effort
