Last week my entire family and I went for a 3-day vacation/staycation at Wayanad.
A week before that, my uncle asked me to arrange a tour bus for the same purpose. What happened was quite interesting for me - as a marketer.
Instead of searching on Google, I took my phone and dialled my friend to ask for a referral from him for the rental bus service
I got the number and contacted him and got his rates and all other details. And after that just for another option, I search on google and found some other leads out of which I contacted one and got the price and details.
Even though the lead that I got from google gave me a cheaper price, for some reason I still decided to go ahead with the one that my friend referred.
Has this happened to you? I have felt the same when it comes to landing clients for my agency - if it is a lead that came from a referral, 90% it’s going to land.
